Meet the Committee

2024 - 2025 Bayside Triathlon Club Committee Members

Meet this year's fabulous Bayside Triathlon Club (BTC) committee members below. Thanks to these
individuals who give their time voluntarily to ensure that our club continues to function and thrive.
Thanks also to all previous committee members who put in the hard yards to get this club to where
it is today!

Natalie Livings

Committee Role: PRESIDENT
Email: president@baysidetriclub.com
Nat’s race of choice is Ironman 70.3, as she reckons she’s getting older and slower – but the
endurance is still there! She has a soft spot for any event that doubles as a holiday – Marbella, Nice
Taupō and Noosa (to name just a few). Contact Nat about anything related to the club or Triathlon
Victoria.

Yestay Kurmanov

Committee Role: Treasurer
Email: treasurer@baysidetriclub.com
As Treasurer, Yestay keeps the club’s cash flow in shape so we can focus on our training. When he’s
not sweating over spreadsheets, Yestay enjoys running up mountains and competing in chess
tournaments.

MATT WIELGOSZ

Committee Role: Secretary
Email: secretary@baysidetriclub.com
You get two for the price of one with Nat & Matt sharing the Secretary position this year. They keep
the committee on track and generally boss people about, in between Ironman (Matt) and Ironman
70.3 (Nat) training.

KIRSTEN WILSON

Committee Role: Social Secretary
Email: social@baysidetriclub.com
Kirsten’s in it for the craic. A social butterfly, she helps organise our various awesome functions to get club members together off the course.

DAVE ADAMS

Committee Role: Membership
Email: info@baysidetriclub.com
Following the Ironman World Championships in Nice, Dave’s training for Port Macquarie Ironman.
Talk to Dave about joining our club and he’ll help you with membership enquiries.

coaching. Talk to Clint about anything to do with triathlon, your goals and how BTC can help you to
achieve them.

Chris Horvath

General Committee

From racing cars to racing triathlon, Chris was once officially voted ‘friendliest club member’. Chris helps out with clubrooms and general duties.

Another of our Ironmen, Simon looks after sponsorship enquiries, as well as general committee duties.

Emma Garza Lopez

SOCIAL MEDIA
Email: marketing@baysidetriclub.com
Emma is in charge of our club marketing. With her creative ideas and friendly approach, she helps to
boost the committee's presence, making sure everyone feels included and informed about upcoming
activities, events and races. She loves to create community connections through digital storytelling.

Rob Bingham

General Committee
Email: GeneralMember@baysidetriclub.com
Rob’s our BBQ King, who likes to keep the club fed at social events. He’s a great reminder that
partners are just as welcome at the club as the triathletes.

Natalie Thomas

General Committee
Email: GeneralMember@baysidetriclub.com
Hailing from Venezuela, Natalie is our volunteer coordinator, organising the troops to support events such as Ironman 70.3 Melbourne, regional Duathlons and our Bayside Tri Club ‘try a tri’ event.

Hayley Gorman

General Committee
Email: GeneralMember@baysidetriclub.com
Hayley’s on a mission to bring fresh energy (and more young faces!) into Bayside Tri Club. A triathlon
lover with a background in sport, she’s all about making the club more social, welcoming, and fun for
the next generation of triathletes.

Kurt Häusler

General Committee
Email: GeneralMember@baysidetriclub.com
Kurt doesn’t come from an endurance background but fell in love with triathlon in his late 20s. From
thinking he would never be able to complete an Olympic distance, he has now completed multiple
70.3s, including a hot one in Lapu-Lapu, Philippines. His sights are currently set on a full Ironman in
2026.

We respectfully acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional custodians of the land on which our club operates; the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge that First Nations peoples have a rich and continuing connection to the Bayside area.
