BAYSIDE TRIATHLON CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Bayside Triathlon club is a not for profit community club based in the Melbourne Bayside area. We are welcome and inclusive to members with a broad range of skills, abilities and goals. Whether your goal is finishing at Kona or maybe you're just starting out in Triathlon, at Bayside Triathlon club you are welcome. You will find like minded people to train, race, learn from and socialise with.

Race insurance:

you are insured for racing within Australia, so no need to purchase the 1-day AusTri membership each time you race.

Race discounts:

10% discount for 2XU series races.

Sponsor/partner benefits:

Pursue Health/Physiosports: 15% discount on physiotherapy, sports massage, podiatry, bike fits. Discounted group strength training sessions on Monday nights 6pm – just for Bayside Tri Club.

P3 Mentone: discounted group bookings, mobile recovery equipment​at various races.

Subsidised social events:

Including season opener, clubrooms brunch after Sandringham tri, quiz nights, end of season celebration, AGM, watches-off run.

Clubrooms:

Free access to Sandringham clubrooms (including gym equipment, SUPs, showers, kitchen).

Free group training sessions:

All social runs, rides and swims are free, and well as some Mercury group training sessions (as advertised).

Club tent at local races:

to gather with other members, and leave your kit during races.

  • Social Membership

    Bayside Triathlon club membership options renew on 1st July and run till 30th of June of the following calendar year.

    Friends and family are welcome to take up social membership if they would like to have more involvement in the club also.

    ​Social members are able to attend social functions, stay connected through the newsletter and members area on our website, and enjoy use of the clubrooms at the Sandringham foreshore. AusTriathlon prevents social members from joining BTC training sessions or using the club equipment like our spin bikes, SUPs and gym equipment. Social members do not have voting rights, nor can they sit on the committee. As per AusTriathlon membership options, social members are not covered by AusTriathlon insurances, hence the inability for social members to train with the club and use club equipment.     When you sign-up with BTC, you will in turn be signing up with AusTriathlon. This is compulsory as part of BTC membership. 

     As a AusTriathlon member you get a number of great benefits:

    Personal insurance whilst racing, training and at club social events.

  • Trial memberships

    AusTriathlon offers both an 8 week trial and a 14 Day membership. These Options are perfect for you to test the waters racing or as a BTC member.

BTC membership is completed in conjunction with your registration with AusTriathlon /Victoria membership. This is because you need to be a member of AusTriathlon to join BTC.
